Introduction

On this newspaper, I will speak about the Filipino value of Pakikipagkapwa-tao and interpret that in the mild of Edith Stein's Sympathy as intersubjecttivity. I believe this Filipino value can be better understood through Edith Stein's concept of intersubjectivity, that is, gentleman can understand himself better in relation with others throughout the concept of Edith Stein's intersubjectivity. Then, I shall present some significant thoughts of the other philosophers to help us better understand this subject. I shall also present what is this kind of Filipino worth of pakikipagkapwa-tao and how this kind of Filipino worth recognizes the fact that " you and I” are other human beings. one particular I shall also give a brief account of Edith Stein's Empathy. Then lastly, I shall consider the Filipino worth of pakikipagkapwa-tao in view of Edith Stein's Accord as intersubjectivity. At the end on this paper, empathy may open another discipline for presentation on the other Philippine values, it is because pakikipagkapwa-tao could be also associated with those different Filipino ideals. The Nature of the Filipino Benefit of Pakikipagkapwa-tao (Human Fellowship)

The Filipino value of pakikipagkapwa-tao is derived from the Filipino word " kapwa-tao” which means " many other human, ” with that " pakikipagkapwa-tao” may be loosely translated as " the work of mutually acknowledging one another as many other human. ”9 Filipinos know that they exist with the other folks. Thus in pakikipagkapwa-tao or perhaps regard individuals, man shows openness and relatedness to others, and treats them while fellow people. In the work of acknowledging others since fellow individual, one is as well acknowledging him self as man.
