Ahead of that state regulated Bangladesh Television (BTV) was the only dominant channel of entertainment for a long twenty-eight years (1964-1992). Bangladesh Television (BTV) ended their monopoly power with the transmission of Satellite television in 1992. But regrettably due to these types of foreign satellite television channels little by little people of Bangladesh happen to be losing their Bengali best practice rules and customs and getting accustomed to the foreign life-style which are bad for the cultural norms and values of Bangladesh. The part of scientific development in society is certainly an interesting area and an important intellectual concern for both equally academics and researchers. The influence of technological expansion is changing the present universe very quickly. Changes are taking place in every spheres of life and ultimately changing the interpersonal and ethnic belief systems. Technological advancement is the one which is playing an important role for this change. The introduction of satellite television is among the dimensions with this technological growth which has a distinct effect on the social and cultural area of Bangladesh. For these changes, human behavior is also changing and thus, the study of changes in the human behavior is becoming more important in the present business community. The purpose of here is info to analyze the effects of Satellite Television on the culture of Bangladesh. According to Zia (2007), satellite television for pc viewership is not a more restricted to the upper-middle class simply; with the availability of low-priced tv set and cable television connection, it may be a common household facility intended for the lower course as well. Audiences have access to a number of channels via local to foreign, which usually provide all of them an opportunity to watch all types of applications. These multimedia sources reveal viewers to new information about the outside community and other methods of life, that might affect attitudes and behaviours (Gentzkow and Shapiro, 2005; Olken, 2006) as well the overall culture (Zahid, 2007). Quite a few research studies had been conducted to see the impact of satellite television about viewers, especially on their behavior (Bukhari., 2002; Malik, M., 2001; Naseem, A. 2001). Due to quick access to satellite television channels, inexpensive and an enormous interest of television viewership for entertainment purposes have created the rapid growth of satellite television all over the world (Zia, 2007). In Bangladesh the rapid demand for satellite television is no exception. Whereas the fast growth of cable TV was considered to be a distinctive feature in the Western World almost 50 years ago (Hilliard and Keith, 1996) the occupants of a poor country and the middle category viewers of Bangladesh did not possess virtually any clear information about satellite television for number of years.
